Definition: A troll is a class of being in Norse mythology and Scandinavian folklore. In Old Norse sources, beings described as trolls dwell in isolated rocks, mountains, or caves, live together in small family units, and are rarely helpful to human beings. (Wikipedia)
What a delightful description but this is far from the kind of Trolls we see working the gates at our event. Our volunteer Trolls are often quite friendly folk that enjoy helping human beings. They provide an essential service ensuring that all of our human beings are registered and allowed to participate in the event’s activities. It does not matter if the Troll is novice or well-wizened to the SCA, any adult who is an SCA member can volunteer a short amount of time to help make our event enjoyable for all.
The Troll Coordinators are HL Lucrezia Iseppa Constantina di Arborea & HL Lucinda the Valiant
To volunteer, please fill out the Troll Volunteer form, below the table, selecting the few time frames that you would be available with your names (SCA & MKA). We will post only your SCA name on the Troll Schedule. Two people will Troll for each time frame., and at least 1 must be an SCA adult member.
